At The Speech Nest, we take the time to get to know your child and tailor speech therapy sessions to their strengths, interests, and specific needs. Our goal is to make speech therapy engaging, meaningful, and effective—helping your child feel confident, supported, and ready to grow.
Working Together
We strongly believe that working together in a supportive environment provides the greatest benefit for you and your child. Your child may also see other professionals (such as teachers, daycare workers, doctors, occupational therapists) and we would love to connect with them.

At The Speech Nest, we strive to provide high-quality, professional speech pathology services. I am a member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. I’m dedicated to ongoing learning and development, so your child always benefits from the latest, evidence-based approaches.

About Us
Hi, I'm Peta, owner of The Speech Nest. Welcome and I am so glad you have found this page. I am a mum of 3 children and an experienced Speech Pathologist.
I have worked for over 14 years as a Speech Pathologist in government funded/public speech therapy services, education and private practice. I am passionate about speech sounds and helping children become confident communicators.
At The Speech Nest, we choose to focus on intervention for speech sound disorders and strive to make evidence based speech therapy fun. I have extensive experience in speech sound disorders and am passionate about continuing to expand my skills and knowledge to help children overcome speech sound difficulties and find their voice.
I believe we make the most progress when we work together. I would love to work alongside your family and your child's health professionals, teachers, or childcare workers. Please contact me to discuss any queries you have about your child. I am happy to chat about speech and language development and speech therapy for children even if you are not ready for a referral just yet. I am also happy to chat about different speech therapy options for children to help support your family.
The Speech Nest is located in Cardup which is south east of Perth. Our home-based clinic is close by if you are looking for speech therapy in Byford, Whitby, Mundijong, Darling Downs, Oakford, Wellard, Baldivis or surrounding areas.
